We all know John Locke for the notable philosopher, social theorist and brainchild of the social contract that he is, but while Locke help us all discover we’re born into a world free from social impression (aka “blank slate”) he failed to mentioned how “blanche” that slate really was. So, thanks John for the blank slate, but where’s my “blank check”?
Well, I need fear no more as my French home-boys DJ Mehdi and Riton are serving it up a la Cartre Blanche! Cartre Blache hit the road in US for a summer long tour which mysteriously took them to…Oklahoma City? Whatever. They’re doing their thing. Having already remixed the likes of Chromeo and Scissor Sister, Carte Blanch is on a role. Ed Banger announced a new EP from Carte Blanche dropping sometime this fall. Cant wait. DO! DO! DO!
