If you really want to distinguish yourself as the poshest rapper alive, try rappin’ bout planes. That’s right, airplanes.
Yeah, they say “airplanes” can take you places, get you where you need to be, and on occasion satiate your appetite for off-brand peanuts, but I assure you this Aeroplane does more than that. For Vito de Luca (pictured above), the only destination for this aeroplane is a one-way trip to melodic bliss.

I'm feeling generous with the posts today, so here is another essential track for our subscribers: Loose Ends' "Hanging On a String." Another great 80s track with tight production. This track is dear to me, as it reminds me of riding around in my Mom's Volvo station wagon as a grade school-er jamming to this song off a cassette of a recorded radio mix. Yes, believe it or not, good music used to be played on the radio. It hasn't lost it luster 20+ years later, and I have yet to hear anything that resembles this or seems as adventurous sonically. Concerning our commitment for "good beats for good people," it is my duty to bring you, the listener up to speed. As far as "roles" on this blog are concerned, I will typically be posting more 70s-80s R&B, disco and funk tracks (Lord have mercy on your soul if you think R&B can include Boyz II Men and the like), as Kyle remains your #1 authority on anything newer/electronic/house. First up is a well known track, but its been rotating heavily on my recent playlists: The Whispers track "And the Beat Goes On." The breezy production and undeniable groove (that Will Smith decided to wreck years later) may overshadow the poignancy of the seemingly negligible lyrics. For the bookworms out there, they almost have a certain flair about them, as The Whispers, whether intentional or not, decide to push back against a world that is cruel and uncaring. Yet, the force to continue is stronger to just end it all, and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy life. That might be a projection, but the song is great regardless.
